Winter Scene

Nice color and enthusiastic brushwork Ralph. One thing I notice though, when I squint, is the barn roof is the lightest in value and the shape of it lies dead center in the painting. Seems its demanding too much attention for my eyes, I might just darken that snow roof a tad and everything should settle down....just a thought..B
Thanks Brian for your critique! I always respect what you have to say and learn a lot from your advice. Will live with it for awhile in real life and then decide on the changes.
One thing for sure. it's a lot more fun painting with the brush then with the knife and I will now try to master the brush technique.
Effective limited palette. With all the white stuff, it has an inviting feel to it. NIce sky, too. Well done.
