Hey Brian, thanks for kind words! This is just a couple of miles from where we live in Umbria. I completed this in 3 sessions of about 40 minutes each at the same time on 3 successive evenings to catch the sun just before it went over the horizon. Oil on canvas and size: 50x70 cms. I like to work fast...
What a lovely painting... great feel to it. I'm very impressed that you did it on location and so quickly. Really masterful touch. I hope you'll post more paintings. Do you have a website?
