This is my latest. It was painted on heavy water colour paper that I mounted on stretchers like canvas. The paint took to it in a really comfortable fashion. C & C appreciated.

Wine Country

Hi Everyone,

This is the view of the lake our condo complex is on in Winter Haven. It's very nice in winter but I understand one has to watch out for aligators in summer!

WINTER STREET VANCOUVER

This is a 16x20" oil/linen of a winter street scene in Vancouver

Guanajuato, Mexico

I had an odd piece of board (7x24)hanging around so I used it for a panorama picture from Mexico. It was a lovely shot of the city with the afternoon sun lighting up the west facing buildings. I think I wasn't up to such a challenge, though. There were so many tiny bits of light and dark that I got completely lost in the painting. I felt like I was wandering around aimlessly for days! How does one handle such pictures?

The neigbour's door

I've done a couple of paintings lately that I'm very unsatisfied with. Here is one. I hope you can give me some insight as to how to improve. I wanted this door picture to show how shaded the door was while the courtyard behind the gate was very bright.
