  2. Jeffrey,

This one has a nice dreamy feel and the water is so wet!

  3. Hi Jeffery,
I really like the feeling of a warm, calm evening. I especially like the reflections in the water in the foreground.

  5. Ok, seeing you said “Please!” to C&C, i’ll give some. :-)

This is the first of your paintings that i found a bit . . . monotonous. Is that the word? That word seems far too harsh.

Although it has a beautiful main focus (the tidal pool), the rest is all the same - no colour changes (relatively speaking of course) - it's like a sepia-tone picture (but then again, maybe that was the purpose).

I'd love to see some colour in the trees to bring my eyes over there after they're finished with the tidal pool. As it is, i don't know where to look after the tidal pool. Personally, i think it would make the tidal pool pop even more.

Of course i could be wrong. After all, i don’t have 1/10th of your talent! :-)

  6. Hi Amber,

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I tried to keep the colours fairly subdued here so that the stillness in the water and tide pool would dominate the feel of a very calm evening.
