Did this one this afternoon, 24x30" oil/canvs. I was particularly drawn to the scaffold and upper deck portion of the boat. This is a hug sea tug from Seattle, dry docked here in Victoria for what looks like a total refit. Comments welcome. Brian
Hello Everyone, It's almost cherry blossom time! This scene is of Victoria's inner harbour, ( 24 x 30 acrylic on canvas). Your comments are always welcome. Linny
This is a 24x30" painting of a South African tree called "Naboomspruit". Found the image in the reference library on Wet Canvas. Thanks to the contributor. Comments welcome. Brian
This is a 30 min. painting done tonight. Wanted to try something without underpainting, value study, just directly on white canvas. 16x20" acrylic. Comments welcome. Brian
This is my first post on the blog. I did the value study for this at Brian's workshop in Boone, NC. The painting is of a back alley here in Boone. You know how I like chalky white Brian, but I think I steered clear of it here. I'm thinking of "slimming" down the tree branches a bit... not sure.
Finally, Rocky Rooster hatched out after sitting on him for several months. Actually, I hadn't been painting very much. Would love to hear your comments Brian.
This is a 22x28" acrylic/canvas of an early morning scene in Seattle. Done from a picture I took on the way back from North Carolina earlier this week. Comments welcome! Brian
Been travelling and feel a bit rusty, but here is one I started in a workshop in Boone North Carolina last weekend. 16x20" acrylic/canvas. Comments welcome. Brian
