    Hi Brian,

    I have a google alert set up for "Boone NC" since I am from there, and so that is how I came to visit your blog -- I got an alert for it due to your mention of our town.

    Let me say, I absolutely love this "Winter's End." I can practically smell the wet earth, and feel the sun's warmth mingling with the forest's aromas and cool air from the melting snow! I commend you on your perceptions and ability to express them through the paint texture and colors. Thank you.
