Moonet
Another one to add to my "cow series". I'm happy that I finished him today as I have been sick with this cold that's going around and I'm onto week 2 and still not 100%, ugh!
Acrylic on 20"x20" wooden panel. Comments appreciated :) Sharka
Lingering By The River
20x30" Acrylic on canvas.

Brian this was a painting that you said was very busy and that I was going to get rid of, but seeing that it wasn't varnished I decided to redo it. The advantage of not varnishing right away is that you can redo the painting later on down the road.

Waterfall WIP
Here is the waterfall I am working on. What can I do for the foreground, do you think? More water? texture? The photo is a bit more colourful than the painting, thanks

Buckeye Lake
I have tried several different methods for painting, but I always come back to Brian's seven step method. It is what works best for me. Here is one I did of Buckeye Lake in Ohio. I would like some feedback as to what else I might need to do for this one, like maybe some thicker paint. Thanks for any tips.

Korea - Kimchi Pots in Winter Garden
Acrylic on canvas board, 12 x 16
Another in our Korean series. I wanted to try to return to the 7-step method and avoid concentrating on the details too much (as I tend to do). I was interested in the reflections on the kimchi barrels, so I concentrated on that and didn't spend too long on the painting. I'm really happy with many aspects of it, but I wonder if I should spend a bit more time on the texture of the wall, the garden, and the path - the painting seems a little too un-detailed for me. What do you think? - Chris
