White Birch
Hello; it's the stranger here. Finally did some painting recently. I liked this one. It's 36X48 acrylic, which I haven't painted with in awhile and I'm really enjoying it. feels a little tighter here then in reality.
Hi Julie, Welcome back!!!! Great colors Julie and love the mish mask behind the trees and the underpainting showing through, very fun! Must be very impressive in real life given the size. Hope your well!
Hey Brian, thanks, did you do your workshop in Vancouver yet? If not when are you here? i will kill you if your were here and didn't call me for a coffee.
Hi Julie, I rescheduled the workshop for May 7-8th. People were worried about traffic etc, etc, etc, with the olympics. I will do my best to look you up when I come. Glad to see you painting and posting again julie! Lovely colors and soft touch that are your trademark. I'm so jealous of the sizes you're painting... I gotta try some that big.
One thought--the two trees on the right look a little washed out. I can't tell if it's the photo or the painting. If it's the painting, you might consider just darkening the darks a shade.

I like the way you put your color spots and the colors too.
