Greens..
16x20 oil/canvas. another version of the same scene i had painted earlier.
Very distinctive pallet Asma, lush composition. Just one thought... I wonder what warmer highlights would do. The whiteness of the brights as they are make me think just a little of flourescent light. Not a criticism... just a thought.
Asma, After looking again, one thing that is competing for attention from the tropical foliage is the spash of lavender between the dark and light trees at the top. Maybe that could be subdued a little and then the forground foliage would really pop. My eye keeps jumping up to that spot. I think the two paintings would make a nice grouping.
JUST GORGEOUS ASMA GORGEOUS! BRIAN
ReplyDeleteI think you executed it well, but, for me, it doesn't quite have the WOW factor the other one does. But, I love anything tropical looking. Nice job!
