I'm posting this for my friend Page. I tried and tried to get a good photo... maybe I can get a better one later. Anyway, this is one of my favorite paintings of Page. In real life, it's very rich and the paint is really thick.
Beautiful color and composition Page. Yeah, I love the colors. That white line around the red mat bothers me a bit though, maybe darken it some or warm it. When I cover it with my finger, I see a totally different picture!!! Wonderful colors!! Brian

ReplyDeleteI will darken the edge and see what happens. Not thet it matters but this painting looks very different in person than it does here.
