Light was bad for the photos of these, so the colors are a little off. These are four little 8"x10" acrylics. I've always liked your cow paintings Brian, and then I was on a farm over the weekend with 800 of these guys... so I had to! A community gallery near hear is having a show of "small" works, so I thought this might be fun. Anway, I'd love some feedback... I'm sure these can be improved.

Elliot, these are great little studies. I love how abstract they are and how each cow blends into the other. A bit folksy too! My only concern is they all look pretty much the same...they look great as a set but if your showing individually, I don't know if a gallery would take all 4, then again, I've been wrong before! I think it would be nice to see them separately too. Brian
ReplyDeleteGood point Brian... I intend them to be a set (kind of pop arty), but if they don't go for that then I guess I'll just go with one.

ReplyDeleteIts amazing how you have had control on just using the limited palette. and worked around just those colors with diff forms. its enthusiasm and it shows. i like th all.
