INLET ROVER

This is another little fauve painting 16x20" acrylic/canvas. Focused more on the design and color rather thank an accurate representation. Comments welcome. Brian

  1. Lovely Brian. I enjoy the way the colors are interacting with each other. Like this one more somehow to the later one. is this in the afternoon?

  2. Hey Brian, really like this one.Particularly the orange in the trees, as that reinforces the abstract quality to it. Also the tri colour scheme green/yellow, blue/purple, and the orange. Very powerful.

I am sure you know that "fauve" means wild ones. You have really captured that look in all the paintings like this one. Henri Matisse was the leader of the fauves. He is my all time favorite along with Paul Cezanne. Keep it up
