Oh Dahlia
Here's todays. I prefered it at an earlier stage.16X20 encaustic
Ya, the medium seduced me into playing longer than I should have. I may try another, as at an earlier stage it felt like a watercolour, it was amazing, and more transluscent. It also had way more spontaneity and edge. Oh well.
Really nice Julie. Love it. The photo looks a little dim. Can you get any more light on it... seems to me that part of the beauty of that medium is the way light bounces back through the wax.
Hey Elliot, good to hear from you. Yes you are absolutly right. This medium is way better in person, as a photo does not capture the luminosity . I will photograph it more accurately for my website. maybe it will be better.
