Sunset 4 redone
I followed all your suggestions and redid the top and photographed it in the daylight The colors are still not quite right but better. God I love this oil. I know I can do wonders with it. Thanks to all for the help!
Much better Ralph , this is gorgeous, love the blue in the distant hills. Yeah, oils can add beautiful qualities to the work. You can also get water soluble oils that are less toxic and not as fumy! Brian
Not to bad this time. I only got paint on the counter where I took the photo, my sweater which I transferred to my pants, and my hands. Messy messy stuff, but boy what a medium to paint with.
Hi Ralph, ya definately better without that dark band. I thought your comments on where the paint ended up was pretty funny. Everywher but the kitchen sink.

ReplyDeleteI'm using M.Graham paints which are made with walnut oil and are not toxic except the cadmium and cobalt.
