Untitled

Here's the coloured version. I had alot of fun with the oils. I can't yet imagine how an artist chooses just one style or look. I don't think I will ever be able to, I have so much fun with it all.

Sunday Afternoon

This is painted from a ref photo i took
while in Tubac yesterday,its 16x20

Through Your Eyes

OK I shot this picture today, which is always fun, to paint a fresh image. I thought I would try oil, as I really wanted to take my time with the value study. With acrylics I often feel rushed and stressed. So my guess is now I will have to wait for a week or so, before I go back in....if I go back in. I think I will. My guess is the paint will lift if I go in too soon, is this right?? Anyone?? I also enjoyed the variety in the edges I could get with little effort, and I find there is much more subtlety, which I am afraid I will loose when I go back in. So I am really trying Brian methods with oils and alot of time inbetween. 24X30

FREIGHTER

This is a 20x16" acrylic on panel. I was kinda playing around here. I was going to cut the panel just below the figure's knee to make it 12x16" but now I don't know. I wish I had a little more space above the figure. Anyway... I'd appreciate any criticism and any thoughts on cutting/cropping, etc.
