Ayesha's garden.
16x20 oil/canvas. thanks for watching, love feedback..
Wow! Asma, this is wonderful, gorgeous color variations in the greenery. A fabulous job on this. This is so abstract and appealing for the eye! Love the dappled light, and the warm/cool interplay of color.Has to be my favorite of yours! You've come a long way in such a short time! Brian
Thanks Brian... this painting was challenging and it took all of me 100 percent for it get working favourably. i actually felt physically drained with back aches working at it but worth every min no doubt. results rewarding thankfully.
Well Asma, for all your labor it turned out beautifully. In my experience, the more labor, the less result, but that's certainly not the case here. Brian
Really interesting composition Asma. Great work! Nice balance of crisp lines in the foreground and a soft focus in the background. I love the dappled light on the right side half-way up. For whatever it's worth, here's a thought I had... the play of light on the leaves suggests maybe more light than the cool fog in the background tells the story of. I wonder what a little warm light back there in the upper left would do. Just a thought... given Brian's comments though, I don't think I would touch anything.
