Hey Brian. I really really love the melon and the peppers. They're gorgeous and just pop off the canvas. I can't quite tell what's on the right side (lettuce or cabbage?).
Was looking a the Peaches and Grapes too. Lovely, though not as thrilling to me as so much of your classically "Brian" paintings.
I really appreciate your faithfulness in posting your paintings and in commenting here on the blog. I hope you realize it's such a great inspiration and a teaching tool. I love looking and reading every day!
Hey , thanks Elliot. I'm not sure what that is on the right either.... Hope I'm not posting here too much , don't want to discourage other. Thanks so much Elliot. Brian
hi Brian, i agree with Elliot, its wonderful watching your work and its equally fortunate for us getting critique from you. thankyou ever so much. i like this painting amazed how the orange of the chillies work so well with the orange of the tablecloth? both similar tones and values how did this happen. darker shades of vermilion on the melon are good enough to eat! great work!

There's no such thing as posting too much Brian... it's all an inspiration and encouragement and one can't have too much of that!
