Sunset 4 redone
I followed all your suggestions and redid the top and photographed it in the daylight The colors are still not quite right but better. God I love this oil. I know I can do wonders with it. Thanks to all for the help!

A big thanks
You know I was reading the comments, and Elliot said in one of his "thanks team" It just gave me pause to reflect on how grateful I am to have the regulars (that would be you Brian Ralph Asma Elliot sometimes Page, Steve and Dave) that comment on our work. It's great knowing you are out there, other wise (at this point in time) my paintings would just sit in the studio. Anyways, just a big thanks. Happy painting!!

Spring Fortune
Here is another I did in my workshop. I chose a subject that I was familar with in order to concentrate on the application, rather than the composition, value etc. 've been extremely pleased with this medium, and plan on working in it alot more. I like the way my "structure" is loosened.16X20 Encaustic on board. PS Brian will that mean I am booted of the blog because I'm not in acrylics??
