Here is another I did in my workshop. I chose a subject that I was familar with in order to concentrate on the application, rather than the composition, value etc. 've been extremely pleased with this medium, and plan on working in it alot more. I like the way my "structure" is loosened.16X20 Encaustic on board. PS Brian will that mean I am booted of the blog because I'm not in acrylics??
I love the textural and spontaneous effect you get with this encaustic Julie. Make the painting so much more interesting and appealing. You are welcome to post encaustic work or even water color if you wish. Brian
