KOI
This is the second "demo" last weekend that I started in acrylic and finished in oil. 24x30" oil/canvas................comments welcome. Brian
For what it's worth, I was surprised by the chroma of the water, as I only saw the black and white and you had described to me the contrast between the muted and the chroma Julie
Yeah, surprised me too Julie, when I looked at the picture this morning the rocks were quite green and I wanted that green to create some harmony with the yellow fish....may have worked better with mutted greyed colors , not sure, my verdict isn't out yet on it...thanks, Brian
The subject appeals to me alot, I love the translucency of the water, and the composition. It's great to see it completed. Thanks Brian

Thanks Julie, not sure how I am about it but will live with it for a bit. Brian
