This one done in 15 minutes over top of another painting...painted from a photo I took this year on the way back to Victoria from Seattle. I loved the mood , wind and wake of the ferry. 16x20"oil. Comments welcome. Brian
It always shows when you are moved, or love the mood of your subject. I find it amazing how much impact/power can be in the simple. Really like the energy behind it. Julie
Yes!!! Awesome Brian. Love it. The picture on your home page and on the blog here look very different in color tones. I like them both. Out of curiosity, is the homepage photo or the blog closer to what the painting actually is? This one and the rusty car both take some risks that really pay off. Keep it up!
OK Elliot, this image is very close to the original, except the distant light in the original is not quite so orange, but more of a buttery color. Was unable to move the color that way...Brian
