Awaiting....
18x24 oil/canvas. did this one yesterday..love feedback..thanks.
Beautiful color here Asma and I like the mood of this one. The road is a bit too perfect for me though, I might make the edges of the road a bit irregular and not so perfectly contoured which would create a bit more interest for the eye. Lovely job here! Brian
Hi Asma, This would be my favorite of yours so far as well. I really like the road particularly the right side, the left I would consider reducing the grey edge as it moves toward the distance, it's a bit even right now. I would also consider getting some darker darks in the tree on the right. (or maybe there is glare from a flash on this area?) Love the road and the red soil and the grass, very nice. I also love your diligence!!
Thanks Julie for all the tips. I had lightened the road earlier and found the total effect looking a bit washed out. I wanted to accunuate the feel of the road, the winding the length and how it associates time with it....

ReplyDeleteThanks Brian, never thought of the road edges that way. I can see what you mean. This one is my personal fav. enjoyed doing it tremendously.
