  1. This is really beautiful Asma! Love the Van Gogh sun and the way you put the paint down. Rich and thicker. Not sure if the sun is taking too much attention and holding the eye there. Great job Asma , go deeper and go for thicker paint now.
    Happy painting.

  2. Asma, This is beautiful. Technically very challenging and you executed very well.

I don't think that's the sun at the top but a street lamp..right?
The colors create a very esoteric mood. I love it.

  3. Yes yes you are Right Carolyn! It is a street light not the sun. Didn't come across dark enough on my screen as a real night scene. Thanks for that Carolyn!

  4. Wow, this is fabulous Asma! I am so impressed, as was mentioned a very difficult subject to pull off in paint. This one could have easily turned to chalk but you kept the whites warm or cool. Love the texutre in the tree below the light and the light beams on the left. You nailed this beautifully. Has to be one of your best. Brian

  7. I love women who give a lot, the pleasers.

If a man wants a great and happy relationship, all he has to do is find a women who gives a lot and give her more.

It goes without saying the woman has to do the samething.

  8. Hey Ralph, not sure what you meant by this last comment and how it relates to Asma's painting????? Brian

  9. Alright Brian. As a painter I don't think it should be important to Asma whether we like her painting or not. The reward comes from within, with what we created, not from pleasing someone from without. Until an artist understand this this there will always be inner turbulence because we can't please everyone.

As for the other part It was meant to help everyone who read this.I assumed that from reading between the lines every one would pickup on it. From Asma's comment I read that she is a very giving woman, and a pleasing woman. The best type to have in a relationship. The simple important advice that I gave to a lot of people over the years, which was if you find a person that is very giving, give that person back more and you will have a terrific relationship. Also a person will become a better painter for it on account of the peace that is created.

While we are at it, the comment I made on Carolyn's painting of the hands was only to say in a funny way, that painting the hands is the same as painting anything else. Just paint what you see.

I am feeling very tired and drained now. I am off the site. Cheers and Happy painting everyone.
