Haveli [old buildings]
18x22 oil/canvas. visited a very old area here which had 200 year old buildings with diferent level terraces built upclose to each other. Loved the view could imagine times back then...
Great Asma, love the warm/cool thing going on here and the play of light across the vines and bushes. You came a little close to making your whites chalky but they look fine. Wouldn't mind seeing thicker paint laid down in single brushstrokes in the lightest areas to make it a bit more 'painterly'. Great job on this one. Brian
Wow, I think this is one of your best Asma. It's a great composition with the strong up-down, left-right of the rectangles and then that great softened angle of the bushes going up. Colors are fantastic. I agree with Brian that some painterly strokes in the whites could really take it up a notch. I really enjoy looking at this one.
