Thanks Brian, I brought it home to ponder it, as I always do, and I think I could hit it up with a few more lighter lights in the foreground. In a dull light, it looses it's lighter values. What do you think?
Julie, maybe add a few darker notes to the foreground which of course will make the lights lighter. If that doesn't quite do it, lighten a few of the lights as you say. I see you already have a few darks in the lower right hand corner, and they liven up whats around them. Brian
Hi Julie you've got the best advice anyone could get so I'll just tell you i enjoyed looking at this one. Its got wonderful character to it and vitality. :}
Hi Julie, love the grayed mutted blues and browns in this one. The brushwork seems windswept and I like your treatment of the distant trees. Brian
