Seacoast Dusk
This is an 18x36 that i did today thanks for looking
Very beautiful Dave. Being in the desert where are all these coastal views from? I love the "economy" with your brush work. I really would love to do a workshop with you. Make sure you keep me posted. Just to watch you paint would be a treat. Always such an incredible sense of light. Oh.... to be able to paint.
thanks Juilie i could learn a few things from you too. here is a workshop shedule for workshops here in Tubac http://www.beadsoftubac.com/art_schedule.html
Juilie i live in the desert but miss the water of the great lakes and often have gone to Calfornia to spend time on the coast, i always carry my camera
Dave love this one, once again superb color richness and feel tohe work. The top light just what livens up the painting. yes would love to be a part of yours and Brians workshop if oly i didnt live thousands of miles away..
I often marvel how you make the most unlikely subjects/compositions so rich and engaging. It's like you're really letting the paint do the work... not so much the subject, composition, technique, etc. So I often find your work engaging in a way that's unusual (in a good way!).
