  1. Very beautiful Dave. Being in the desert where are all these coastal views from?
    I love the "economy" with your brush work. I really would love to do a workshop with you. Make sure you keep me posted. Just to watch you paint would be a treat. Always such an incredible sense of light. Oh.... to be able to paint.

  3. Juilie i live in the desert but miss the water of the great lakes and often have gone to Calfornia to spend time on the coast, i always carry my camera

  6. I often marvel how you make the most unlikely subjects/compositions so rich and engaging. It's like you're really letting the paint do the work... not so much the subject, composition, technique, etc. So I often find your work engaging in a way that's unusual (in a good way!).
